When Your Heart Is In Italy | By Karl R Lilliendahl: Bring the Soul of Italy Into Your Home

When I first came to Italy in 2003, it felt like traveling back in time, in a good way. The atmosphere was very different from daily life in Iceland. I was fascinated by the stillness and how people lived. A few years later, I moved to Bologna with my family, stayed there for a while, and experienced Italian life more fully by getting to know the people and the community.  Since then, I have traveled to Italy regularly.

I often describe my photos as still frames from unmade movies because I see each photograph as a small part of something bigger, a glimpse into a story that connects us all. 

 I print all my photographs on fine art cotton, museum-quality paper, and they are all limited editions, numbered and signed, delivered in a safe tube worldwide.
